- Use one spice mill with salt and the other with pepper or with different types of pepper and spice mixes.
- When you see through the glass that the contents are starting to run out, you simply unscrew the cap and refill.
- The grinder sits on the top of the spice mill, which means you avoid having spice residues on the table, worktop or spice rack.
- You decide how finely you want to grind the contents with a setting on the top of the spice mill.
- When you want to clean it thoroughly, the top’s cap can be folded up.
- The brown glass reduces the effect of daylight on the spices and makes them retain their flavour for longer.
- The grinder can also be used on the 150 ml HALVTOM jar.

Hanna-Kaarina Heikkilä“One of my ideas when designing HALVTOM spice containers was that they should help create a trendy restaurant feeling at home. I see them like small sculptures that you enjoy having at the ready while cooking and having on the dining table to add an aesthetic effect. The brown glass creates a warm, earthy and soft expression, but is also practical since it’s better than clear glass for the spices. These are products that look simple but offer both complexity and character."
Care instructions
- The glass bottle and the detachable plastic top plate are dishwasher safe. The grinder should be washed by hand.
