Maria Vinka"With the textiles and objects in the OMMJÄNGE collection, I want to break stereotypes and show that folk art can be both inspiring and exciting. An image of the 1800s bride named Kunigunda was my starting point, my canvas on which I painted a new story with intricate patterns in vibrant colours to evoke curiosity and integrate history into contemporary design. I hope that people embrace the historical connection and appreciate the roots of our Swedish heritage."
Care instructions
- Airing and vacuuming will help to eliminate the smell that the rug can have when it is new.
- Do not wash.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not iron.
- Do not dryclean.
- Vacuum, shake and rotate the rug regularly.
- Dry spots; remove immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.
- Wet spots; do not rub. Absorb with paper towels, damp with cloth and mild detergent.
- Professional carpet cleaning when needed.
- Always use the standard floorhead, never the rotating brush, when vaccum cleaning the rug.
- Wool rugs shed naturally, so regular vacuuming is recommended.
