Designer
Friso WiersmaWhen designing PINNTORP series, I looked to Swedish 19th century furniture tradition, a time when resources were scarce and clever use of materials was needed. For the chair, I tested different angles of the backrest for optimal comfort. I was going to add spindles but found that the chair was just as comfy without. Smart use of materials created a distinct look and the series’ red and wood tones also pay tribute to this period – ready to spread warmth and beauty in your home.
Care instructions
- Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.
- Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
- For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.
- Machine wash, max 40°C, normal process.
- Do not use optical brighteners.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron, max 150°C.
- Professional dry cleaning in tetrachloroethene and hydrocarbons, normal process.
