Mikael Axelsson"In the work with SKANSNÄS, I did a deep dive into our IKEA archive and drew inspiration from tables and chairs from the 1950s and 60s, which was a golden age for Scandinavian design. I like the simple and soft shapes and the natural materials they used. Materials that are beautiful from the start and develop a nice patina over time. I brought all of that with me, but I also wanted to add new knowledge about ergonomics and techniques to make furniture that suits our time."
Care instructions
- Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.
- Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
- If placed close to a radiator or other source of heat, the material can dry out and deteriorate.
- For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.
