Product details

Part of the Nytillverkad collection where several IKEA classics have been given a new look.

This armchair frame was part of the GOGO series which was launched in our 1972 catalogue and was described as "light and portable". The designers were the duo Charlotte Rude and Hjördis Olsson-Une.

In 1972, we used standard steel for the frame's tubes, but the tubes are made of high-strength steel in this updated version, which cuts material consumption in half.

This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards.
Only use the armchair together with ÖNNESTAD cushion set, sold separately.

Frame: Steel, Epoxy/polyester powder coating
Panel: Plywood
Supporting fabric: 100% polyester (min. 90% recycled)
Thread: 100% polyester
Feet: Polypropylene plastic

Machine wash, max 40°C, normal process.
Do not bleach.
Tumble drying, low temperature (max 60°C).
Iron, max 110°C.
Do not dryclean.
Wipe clean with a soft cloth dampened in water and a mild washing-up detergent or soap, if necessary.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Check regularly that all assembly fastenings are properly tightened and retighten when necessary.
